Basic legal advice and refferals
This involves offering general legal information and guidance on a wide range of legal issues to people situated in Vhembe District . It may include explaining legal rights and responsibilities, providing insights into legal processes, and answering simple legal questions. cases where the legal issue is beyond the scope of the free basic advice service, the organization or service may provide referrals to other legal resources or professionals.
Legal Education.
We conduct legal Education, mostly in rural communities under Vhembe District, teaching our People basic concepts of law as well as their rights and responsibilities.
Schools Programs.
We have Partnered with Schools in Vhembe District wherein we assit them to combat social ills such as Gender Based Violence, Bullying, Substance Abuse, Teenage Pregnancies and HIV/AIDS.
Literacy Programs
Our literacy programs target different groups, including children, adults, seniors, and communities with limited access to education. These programs typically offer a structured and systematic approach to learning, tailored to the specific needs and age group of the participants. Some common features of literacy programs include: reading and writing instructions, individualized learning, one on one small groups tutoring, use of educational material, digital literacy and Community engagement.
Seminars
We do educational events or gatherings where a group of people, typically experts or knowledgeable individuals in a particular field, come together to share and discuss information, ideas, research findings, or experiences related to a specific topic. Seminars are often organized to promote learning, exchange knowledge, and foster intellectual discussions among participants.
Outreach Programs
We do community outreach programs to address various needs and challenges faced by individuals or communities and often focus on promoting well-being, education, health, social support, and other essential services.We also do outreach programs on Combating social ills such as Gender Based Violence, Bullying, Substance Abuse, Teenage Pregnancies and HIV/AIDS in many different communities under Vhembe District.
Thusa Lushaka Paralegal and Advice is an NPO/NPC that gives people under Makhado Municipality free basic legal Advice and Refferals. We also conduct legal Education in these respective communities, teaching our people basic concepts of law as well as their rights and responsibilities.
