Thusa Lushaka Paralegal and Advice is an NPO/NPC whose Primary objective is to give free basic legal advice to community members under Vhembe District Municipality who may not have access to or be able to afford traditional legal services and referrals to relevant public and Private authorities. We also visit Communities empowering individuals to understand and assert their rights. We provide legal Education, awareness workshops, facilitate community Organising and empower individuals to become Advocates for their own rights.

Our secondary objectives is that, we have partnered with Schools and communities under under Vhembe District Municipality , where we help combat social ills such as Gender Based Violence, Bullying, Substance Abuse, Teenage Pregnancies and HIV/AIDS. We do awareness workshops to educate learners and community members about the different forms of these social ills, the consequences and the importance of addressing them.

We have as of the 1st of June 2023 established literacy programs in rural communities under Vhembe District Municipality. The purpose of the literacy programs is to promote and enhance literacy skills among grade R to Grade 7 learners who may have limited or inadequate reading, writing, and comprehension abilities. These programs aim to improve functional literacy, which is essential for learners to fully participate in the education space.
